The Nokia 6760 is otherwise known as the slide, for very good reason. The handset incorporates a full QWERTY keyboard of a size that makes it useful rather than simply an add-on. The keyboard is incorporated behind a screen and simply slides out, hence the name. It provides a multitude of functionality, all of which is useful in its own right. The handset is aimed at those who need to work whilst on the move and is evidently meant to be used as a work tool as is obvious by the included software such as quick office and PDF reader.

One of the key features of this handset is its 2.4 inch TFT display screen. Offering up to 16 million colours available within its display means that images displayed are represented in a colourful manner. The display screen operates at a pixel screen size of 320 x 240 pixels and includes an accelerometer sensor which automatically rotates imagery dependent upon the aspect of the image and the orientation of the phone. In addition a full QWERTY keyboard, as mentioned earlier, is provided which simply slides from behind the screen and can then be utilised in landscape mode for data entry.

The Nokia 6760 comes with an MP3/MP4 player, which can accommodate the majority of audio and video file types available. In addition a stereo FM radio with RDS is integrated and offers the ability, should the need arise, to listen to radio stations located regionally or nationally. The handset comes with 120 MB of internal memory storage, whilst some packages include a 2 GB SD card as part of the package. In addition should additional memory be required utilising the microSD slot provides the means to increase the memory up to 16 GB.

Connectivity is provided by a multitude of different options, these include GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, Blue tooth as well as microUSB. The handset also provides satellite navigation, by means of GPS with A-GPS support and includes Nokia maps. Internet access with this handset is fast and makes web browsing and enjoyable experience rather than a laborious one.

The handset comes with a 3.15 mega pixel camera which operates at 2048 x 1536 pixels and comes with an enhanced fixed focus as standard. In addition and as an alternative to static imagery, video recording and playback is available with this handset and is at QVGA quality at 15 frames per second. A photo editor is also provided with the handset which allows manipulation of imagery taken whilst on the move.

The Nokia 6760 slide is a competent handset which offers excellent levels of functionality with a simplistic style and a QWERTY keyboard that puts many to shame. Unlike many keyboards, this keyboard is actually eminently usable and large enough to make text and data entry simplicity itself.
