The most powerful mobile phone to be launched by Sony Ericsson has now been made available in a second colour variant, joining the original black edition of the latest Xperia phone is the new Sony Ericsson X10 White which has become an Orange network exclusive handset.

The White Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 replicates the features and technology found in the original model but encases them in an all new white coloured housing to appeal to a broader audience. Judging from the success of other white mobile phones with the Apple iPhone 3GS White edition a prime example, this latest Sony Ericsson release looks set to storm the market.

As a network exclusive device, the white Sony X10 will only be available on Orange for an agreed time frame negotiated between the manufacturer and network, these are usually kept very secret so as not to give too much information away to rival networks who will be able to stock this new white phone after the exclusive launch period has expired.

The Xperia X10 is the first Android based handset that Sony Ericsson has launched, that said they obviously realise the populrity of these new phones as they have also now announced the release of two new models which are also part of the Xperia range. The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro and X10 Mini are two new miniaturised versions of this X10 phone and both manage to keep the majority of the high specification features in tact even though they are squeezed into a far smaller footprint.

Both of these new X10 Xperia phones cut down the screen size from 4 inches to a manageable 3.2 inches making for far more pocket friendly devices. The X10 Mini Pro even squeezes in a further physical Qwerty keyboard that slide out from beneath the phone.

Other features of this new white edition handset include an industry leading 1GHz processor which makes light work of loading and running large applications, an 8 mega pixel camera, the manufacturers new Timescape and Mediascape applications which manage social networking, messaging, emailing, pictures, videos and media into simple, easy to use threads and widgets.

The Sony Ericsson X10 also has access to the ever growing Android market where the user can find thousands of new applications to download onto the expandable 1GB of internal memory, everything from Google Maps, to new games, movie trailers and music can be downloaded and enjoyed on this latest Android phone.
