There are many reasons as to why the call center industry of the Philippines had grown massively in only less than a decade. One of the most apparent reasons is because of their Outsource Call Center services which not only reached every industries of every market in the Philippines, but also the global market.

The call center industry started as a plain provider of email response and managing services in the Philippines. However, the industry changed when a few third-party companies had started to offer live answering services such as customer care and technical support to their clients. Since then, the demand for the same type of service had steadily grown in the Philippines which led to the start of the call center industry of the Philippines.

After the start of the call center industry, many call center companies in the Philippines started to offer their own call center services, which also introduced a number of new services from simple live answering services such as Order taking services, to a more business-to-business oriented services like online business to customer support and online business to business support.


The success of the call center industry, and their outsourcing services had grown so much that many industry experts had considered the call center industry as one of the fastest growing industries in the Philippines. However, what made the call center industry of the Philippines more successful is because of their offshore dealings. Due to the rapid and healthy growth of the call center industry, many foreign investors had landed in the Philippines in hopes of starting their own call center company or agency and make use of the Philippines’ manpower resource to provide them with live answering services such as Order taking service.

However, most of these foreign investors never intended to offer their services to local businesses and companies. Their aim is to offer their call center services to offshore businesses and companies. This then led to the growth of demand for call center companies coming from the Philippines.


According to industry experts, it was because of this that the call center industry of the Philippines became one of the most successful, as well as one of the largest, industries in the Philippines.
