It's not unusual to hear people talk about world peace as impossibility, or at least, if you dig down a bit, you will find that's what they think. Perhaps the search for peace will always end in failure. But the active statement of one's commitment to peace, and the present ‘doing' of peace is always possible, and is, indeed, the true and only means for the realization of peace. That is the power of ‘everybody-all-at-once'.

In very practical terms, it is only on the foundation of actively lived cooperation and tolerance that it is possible for Peace to be established among us. Adi Da stated this as a Law, epitomized in the Formula C + T = P, or "Cooperation + Tolerance = Peace".
It is absolutely essential that everybody, the total collective of humankind, formally embrace and really enact this universal moral disposition - and NOW.

Whether we are thinking about the global economic crisis, or the environmental crisis, the end of cheap oil, or the threats of nuclear bombs going off, it is clear that humankind is at a kind of turning point, a critical moment where key decisions must be made to turn things around, before this collection of crises overwhelms us. The doomsday scenario is now looking possible - but it is not inevitable. Only the power of ‘everybody-all-at-once' can turn things around.

Gloria Applbaum is a Canadian living abroad who has studied Global Peace for years. SShe sees this as the turning point in all of human history where economic, environmental, security, and other global crises will lead us to the point of radical change, or catastrophe. Twelve laws of world peace are here to serve the humankind with New global order.
