I love to watch MTV and VH1. Every time I watch those channels, I can watch some of the great performers of our day as they dance to the moves on the music videos. I've enjoyed everyone from Michael Jackson to Beyonce Knowles to Madonna. But one of my favorite performers is none other than the beautiful red headed seductress Rosie Vela. This lady is classy and beautiful all at the very same time. I don't know much about her, but I sure wish I knew who Rosie Vela is dating, because that is one lucky guy.

I'll tell you what I do know about her though: Her family lived in Arkansa where she attended the University of Arkansas. It was there that she got her start in the music and fashion biz (well really music biz) when she studied art and music. At the same time, she also began modeling and causing the hearts of teenage boys everywhere to swell. She married a musician named Jimmy Roberts, but he died of cancer just a short time later and was buried in his native Arkansas.

After that, Rosie made the move to big time, heading to New York like a seductive version of Hilary Clinton. It was in the fashion capital of the United States that her modeling career got a serious boost and I first got to hear of her when she was on the cover of all kinds of magazines and in lots of different commercials. Later, she decided to focus on her musical talents and she built a recording studio in her home. She signed a contract with A&M Records and released her debut album called Zazu way back in 1986.

It was probably around this point that I started asking the question, who is Rosie Vela dating because I'd fallen in love with her by then. Alas, for whatever reasons, that information seems to have been kept secret. I couldn't find information then and I can't find information now.
Anyway, that first album was a bit of a flop here, but it did well in Europe and Rosie's career as a singer was, while not secure at least on it's way.

Unfortunately for all of us, Rosie never released another recording of her own, but she has been heard as a backup singer with other bands such as ELO on their 2001 album; Zoom.

Vela also toured briefly with the band briefly broke the veil of silence regarding her romances since she was dating the lead singer. However, these days I don't know who Rosie Vela is dating. I only know I wish it were me.
