From Grassroots Films of Brooklyn, New York comes THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE - the story of a band of brothers who travel the world in search of the answers to the burning questions: Who am I? Who is Man? Why do we search for meaning? Their journey brings them into the middle of the lives of the homeless on the streets of New York City, the orphans and disabled children of Peru, and the abandoned lepers in the forests of Ghana, Africa. What the young men discover changes them forever. Through one on one interviews and real life encounters, the brothers are awakened to the beauty of the human person and the resilience of the human spirit.[1]

Pre-screenings of the movie are being held across the United States. The film is being shown as a "rough cut" [1] The first public pre-screening was held on January 26, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ. Future screenings are to be held in London, England, and Manila, Philippines.[1] A list of public screenings can be found here by clicking on "Screenings" at the bottom of the page.

Two of the movie's protagonists, Michael Campo and Jeffrey Azize, are often present at the pre-screenings to take questions after the film. During these question and answer periods, they have stated that they are currently working on finding a major distributor, and that the movie will reach theaters nationwide in the near future.

The Human Experience will be theatrically released in select Harkins Theatres in Arizona, Colorado and Texas on April 9th, 2010.[2]

The film is produced by Joseph Campo (Executive Producer), Clifford Azize (Associate Producer), Michael Campo (Associate Producer), and Charles Kinnane (Director) of Grassroots Films [3] who most recently produced "Fishers of Men", an 18-minute documentary aimed at young men who are considering the priesthood, in 2006.[4]
