A lot of lucky people were given the opportunity to go to New York many times. They go to Big Apple and watched the much known Broadway shows. They do this because without watching any of it, their trip will be incomplete. Of course, a lot of them go to the safest theatre. Indeed, it is the first factor we should consider when we get the chance to go there and watch shows we love the most.

1. Wicked. It is now recorded to be the 17th longest-running Broadway show which has been played 2, 942 times of performances as of December 5, 2010. It is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman. It is the untold musical story of The Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good...before Dorothy dropped in. The Broadway play Wicked takes a fantasy journey through the unseen side of Oz, sharing a tale of unexpected friendship and love.


2. The Lion King. No one would ever forget the movie The Lion King and I think it will always be in the heart of anyone especially Simba. It is now the eighth longest-running show in history. It is a winner of six 1998 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, The Lion King Broadway show pulses with an award-winning score and innovative puppetry to bring the classic story of young royal heir Simba and the animals of the African Pride Lands to vivid life.


3.Jersey Boys. It is the winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, the Jersey Boys Broadway show tells the story of how Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons went from being unknown New Jersey kids to international pop superstars. Jersey Boys on Broadway features over 30 beautifully sung tunes, including "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."

4. The Addams Family. It is based on the bizarre and beloved characters created by Charles Addams, The Addams Family Broadway play finds the famously macabre Addams Family put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Fester, Grandmama and Lurch headlong into a night that will change the family forever.


5. American Idiot. American Idiot on Broadway follows the exhilarating journey of a new generation of young Americans as they struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world, borne along by Green Day's electrifying score. American Idiot on Broadway
includes every song from the acclaimed album American Idiot, as well as several songs from the band's Grammy-nominated new release, 21st Century Breakdown.
