Thriller Live the Musical

He was known worldwide as the King of Pop. His songs span decades and sold millions. Thriller Live is an exciting show celebrating the life and career of Michael Jackson, and the Jackson Five. Established in 2006, the show has been on tour ever since, amazing audiences and receiving standing ovations across Europe. The multi-media effects and choreography make this show one you won't want to miss.

The show is not a musical, nor is it just a "look alike" performance. But many performers showing their respect and love for one of the greatest musical icons ever. Some of of the songs included in the show are "I Want you Back," "I'll Be There," "Rock With You," "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and of course "Thriller." Enjoy over two hours of non-stop Michael Jackson.

The first UK tour of Thriller Live featured the talents of Shaheen Jafargoli, who appeared on Britain's Got Talent, and also sang at Michael Jackson's memorial service. Adult singers included Pop Idol star Zoe Birkett, and Australian vocalist Mig Ayesa. The tour is currently performing in the Lyric Theatre in London. The theatre is located on Shaftesbury Avenue on London's West End. The theatre opened in 1888 and is the oldest theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue. The auditorium is split on four levels with a total of 924 seats available. For your pleasure a comfort cooling system and cloakroom are also available.

The Lyric Theatre is located among several other attractions. The Apollo and Queen's theatres for starters. And for the whole famiily, the Piccadilly Circus. With dozens of acrobats, daring motorcycle stunts and hilarious clowns, it's a show you won't want to miss!

Leicester Square is open to pedestrians only and contains the "cinema land" section of London. Famous cinemas such as the Odeon, which holds 1,683 people, and the Empire which holds 1,330, and is the only THX certified screen in the square. Just north is the famous Prince Charles Cinema, famous for it's regular showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
Several night clubs are also nearby, including the well-known Hippodrome, which has won an award for the best nightclub in the UK!

But probably the biggest attraction in the area currently, is Thriller Live. The show was originally supposed to run only until May of 2009, but since Michael Jackson's death in June of 2009, the requests for extended shows has been enormous. Don't miss it!
