Billy Elliot is the theatrical adaptation of a popular movie of the same name. The respective musical will hit the road twice in the United States towards the end of this year. It has been based on a New York production. It had made its original debut in London back in the year 2005. The story of the respective show revolves around a coal miner's son who wants to become a professional dancer. This musical enjoyed unlimited success owing to its several adaptations. It had made its Broadway production debut three years later in 2008.
Te story revolves around the life of James Hobley. When he makes his debut as a professional dancer and gives this performance all that he has, it is only a matter of time when he will be swamped by offers from Hollywood. The fact that he is just 10 years old is of no significance. If actor Daniel Day-Lewis had been given the chance to perform such a role almost four decades ago, he would have definitely bagged yet another Oscar.
Jaclyn Ruggiero plays the role of a character named Sharon Percy in the respective musical. She plays it in the Chicago version with the composure of an experienced professional. She has explained it to be great fun. Although she is just twelve years old she has already given awesome performances as Baby June in the play titled "Gypsy" that had made its Broadway premiere when she had been 10 years of age.

Several hundred students who came from the Stagecoach York have given a performance during the course of the evening at a gala performance that had been held at the musical theatre.
