The Sony Ericsson W595 Gold is a colour variant of the popular W595 range of Sony handsets. Originally released in September 2008 this handset has gone on to become one of the most popular handsets available. This is due to its simple design and effective functionality. The phone is a compact handset which measures 100 mm x 47 mm wide and is 14 mm thick, it is a slider phone that weighs 104 g in weight.

It provides a walkman player with a range of additional functions which include TrackID music recognition, SensMe and shake control. In addition a stereo FM radio with RDS is provided which offers a suitably viable alternative to downloaded music and allows the ability to listen to a wide variety of radio stations.


GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, blue tooth and USB all integrated within this handset and offer a wide variety of connectivity options which include internet access at fast speeds. In addition the ability to share files seamlessly with other suitably attired devices as well as download files or synchronise with a PC is also available.



The Sony W595 Gold is an aesthetically pleasing variant of the standard model and offers the same level of functionality. It is also available in jungle Grey, lava black, ruby black as well as a variety of other colours.
