The Sony Ericsson Vivaz comes with an impressive range of functionality, much of which is advanced by mobile phone standards. Features such as a 720 MHz processor, coupled with impressive graphics capabilities intertwine with an impressive touch screen and an 8.0 megapixel camera. One of the key features of this handset is its 8.0 megapixel camera, which operates at a pixel resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels and also comes with an LED flash as well as auto focus, touch focus, face and smile detection. The popular feature known as geo-tagging is also included. In addition, the camera provides the means to record video at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and also includes a useful video light.


The Sony Ericsson Vivaz utilises a 720 MHz processor coupled with the Symbian series 60 operating system, which is the 5th addition. As a means of enhancing graphics capabilities, the PowerVR SGX graphics capability provided with this handset ensures excellent image reproduction. The handset will be available in a variety of colours which include Silver Moon, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby.


The Sony Vivaz incorporates a vast array of entertainment features, which include Facebook and Twitter applications as well as YouTube and Picasa integration. Downloaded music and video files can be played on the media player, or alternatively listen to a wide variety of broadcasts with the stereo FM radio which comes with RDS capabilities.
