A white version of the popular handset, the Samsung Jet is now available. Offering a combination of impressive functionality with an aesthetically pleasing new colour scheme, this handset looks sure to be popular.
The handset is slim at 11.9mm and lightweight, weighing in at 110 grams. Both of these factors make the phone comfortable to hold and use whilst out and about. The handset features impressive AMOLED touch screen technology. The screen measures 3.1 inches and displays an impressive 16 million colours within 480x800 pixels. An accelerometer sensor kicks in when the handset is tilted and rotes the image on screen accordingly.

Where 3G is available, speeds of up to 3.6Mbps can be achieved via HSDPA. The signal given off by local wireless internet routers is utilized by the handset's capability to provide Wi-Fi connectivity. Bluetooth is provided for sharing files with friends and a micro USB (v2.0) connection means the phone can be connected to a computer in order to transfer and back up files and data such as contacts and media files.
On the subject of media files, an impressively versatile media player accommodates many different formats of both music and video files. Should users require more entertainment features, a stereo FM radio player and a range of pre-installed and downloadable games are provided.
Internal storage is an impressive 2 GB. This should adequately cater to the needs of most users for storage of media files and other data. If extra storage is required, however, a micro SD slot can be utilised by installing a memory card of up to 16 GB.
The built in digital camera has an impressive 5 mega pixels on offer, operating at a pixel resolution of 2593x1944 pixels. This allows images of high quality to be taken, whilst the addition of features such as autofocus and LED flash simplify the task. D1 quality video can be shot using the camera, and this is at 30 frames per second.
Several additional applications increase the versatility and everyday functionality of the handset. A video editor and digital compass are included, along with a handy organiser and voice memo recorder.
Also available in black, chrome and purple, this handset is sure to appeal to style conscious users, as well as the more tech-savvy who will be impressed with it's functionality and impressive spec list.
