The Nokia 6700 Classic Illuvial is a slider phone with a difference. Offering smart phone technology encased within a superbly styled and aesthetically pleasing outer casing, this phone is destined for greatness. Measuring 95 mm x 46 mm wide and only 15 mm thick it is a compact unit that packs a punch. It contains within the handset a central processing unit as well as utilising the Symbian version 9.3 operating system. Connectivity is plentiful with this handset, by virtue of its included GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, blue tooth and microUSB connections. This variety of connectivity provides the means to connect to a variety of devices as well as performing tasks such as a file sharing and synchronisation.
As its primary means of entertainment, the handset provides an MP3/MP4 player and a stereo FM radio. The player will play all major audio and video file types, whilst the radio provides the means to listen to a wide variety of broadcasts from local and national radio stations. The phone comes with an internal memory of 45 MB, however most packages include a 2 GB SD card. In addition, for further expansion of the memory the microSD card slot can be utilised to expand the memory up to 16 GB if required.
In addition to the aforementioned features, the phone provides an organiser, Flash Lite 3.0 as well as a voice memo capability. A variety of games are also included within the handset for further entertainment. The phone comes in a variety of colours which include aluminium, pink, petrol blue and purple.
