The Clique Exclusive Preview offers an inside peek into the supposed number one bestselling story about an exclusive private middle school girl group. This app is definitely for those who enjoy books a la Gossip Girl or any other teen girl drama. Downloading this app was easy and quick.

Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a short summary of what the book was about and the choice to preview or buy the other three Clique books, as well as two other additions. I decided to start off with the first book since I have never heard of this series before. Once I clicked on the book I chose, I could either start reading right away, view the Table of Contents or view Instructions.

Using this app was very simple: swipe to turn the page, pinch to adjust the text size, tap the top of the screen for more features and tap the page number to skim through the book. I found it great that there were many other features to make the reading experience even more enjoyable. For example, I could create notes while reading, view links for more information about the book and also purchase the book in this app. If users want, they can also change the background or text of the book.
I love the idea of being able to read a book with my iPhone, and this was definitely cheaper than buying a Kindle. Each page loaded quickly and I was able to breeze through this book preview easily. One feature I hope they can add in the future is the ability to bookmark pages. Other than that small gripe, I found this app to be very useful and the interface very visually pleasing. It's a great addition for any teen who wants to check out The Clique before they commit to buying because you can read up to 30 pages of each book. This book looks very enticing and appears well worth the read!
