Humor is a very important part of life. It makes our life a pleasant experience. Cartoon is an art form that relies heavily on humor to express various emotions and views.

People drawing them are known as caricaturists. Drawing a caricature requires a lot of practice as it is not easy. To draw caricature of a person first of all it is important to study the facial characteristics of the subject. They find out the prominent features of the face to exaggerate in the caricature.

In today's world, the art of cartooning is used in various ways. Newspapers use political cartoons, drawn on political current affairs. Comic strips are also published in newspapers that have a set of characters shown in different situations in each new strip. There are animators who use computer software to draw and animate cartoons for making animation films. Even advertising agencies use cartoon to portray any funny situation in an ad campaign.
