Taylor Swift Snitches Five Nominations!

Country pop star 20 years old Taylor Swift has been nominated in five categories for Academy of Country Music Awards. Press reported that female vocalist Swift heard this pleasing news at her home near Nashville. Swift has got +5 nominations which she will be adding in her past nomination record.
List of categories for which Swift has been nominated include Entertainer of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for her song "You Belong With Me," and Video of the Year again for her same song "You Belong With Me." Her nomination count hit the fifth digit when she got nominated for the second time in the category of Song of the Year for co-writing "You Belong with Me." Swift won her ever first nomination for "entertainer of the year trophy", this is considered to be awards' highest honor.

Swift will be facing a tough competition in the category of Entertainer of the Year because she is in contest with well known stars of the country like Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, George Strait, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band. While in the category of Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Swift will oppose stars like Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Lee Ann Womack.
The dazzling evening of 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, will make the final decision that who among Swift and other nominees, will take home the prizes. This event will be broadcast live by CBS on Sunday, April 18 2010.
In Grammy Awards held in January last year, four awards where taken by Swift despite of her uneven performance with Stevie Nicks.
Apart from celebrating her achievements as a nominee for 5 awards, Swifts has also jumped in the poll of her Fearless Tour, which will be joining Swift with tourmates Kellie Pickler and Gloriana.
This tour will show up its first show on the coming Thursday at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. Making stops in 31 cities of 25 states and provinces performing at different arenas and stadiums, this 39-date tour will complete its journey of North America till next three months.
