Stuart Baggs has achieved a amount of infamy since the recent series of the BBC Television show The Apprentice hit our Television screens. At only 21 years old the young entrepreneur he has already proved himself to be a effective businessman running the successful Bluewave telecommunications business on the Isle of Man.

Often referring to himself as ‘The Brand Stuart Baggs’ and occasionally showing  a cocky and loud personality, he didn’t constantly get on with the other contestants in the show, but this made first rate TV, and despite not becoming popular with the general public Stuart captured their curiosity and viewers tuned in.

Reality TV shows need powerful characters to be entertaining and Stuart was certainly entertaining as viewers tuned in week after week to find out if this could be the week that he was sent home after being fired.

In reality, Stuart Baggs was never going to win the show, but he did do very well reaching the penultimate episode of the series, only for your misunderstanding over which telecommunication licenses he holds led to an assumption that he had lied about particulars on his CV, leading to a scene of pure Telly Gold with Lord Sugar dramatically and angrily sacking him with the now infamous term “..full of shit, basically..”

With hindsight Lord Sugar would doubtless admit that he was a little harsh on Stuart who did present a few glimpses of why he has found success.

But, however, like other reality Telly contestants a dramatic exit can lead to a silver lining, and this can be observed utilizing the search evaluation tool Google Insights for Search, which could be used to show the trends in keyword searches.

Stuart may not be a brand himself but he absolutely is socially relevant to the mass media at the moment, and his firm is getting an improved level of interest, so perhaps Lord Sugar did him a favour.
