I am going to demonstrate to you how the following will illustrate why you should show your un-retouched photography to the public.

The best shots are the ones that are just stumbled upon by the photographer. The stumbled upon or un-retouched photograph as most people refer to them. Un-retouched photographs have all the warmth and expression that is originally portrayed by the photographer when initially deciding to take the picture. Depending on lighting/filtration and lens quality your picture can be grainy and raw or natural looking. Photographers strive to make the photograph both intriging as well as eye catching.

Occassionaly one would rather have a background of a building instead of trees or that the background could be a different color. Photographers recommend that you never show the public your un-retouched pictures. It has been discovered that there are far more photographers out there that are gaining expertise in the Photoshop programs that allow you to touch up your pictures a lot or just a bit removing minor blemishes, this was learned through interations with people from across the nation. Photographers must decide to display their photographs as original un-retouched photographs or if they are going to use a computer program specifically designed with altering the finished product of your photograph. With the use of many different programs for photography one has the ability to take a modern day photograph and turn it into a photograph that will look as if it was taken in the early days of black and white photography. Likewise one has the ability through the use of many different Photoshop programs to take a picture for the early 1900's and make it look as if were taken just yesterday.

Depending on the look the photographer is striving for depends on whether or not the photographer will be willing to digitally Photoshop their particular photograph.

By using a method called touching up you scan the photograph on to your computer and utilizing your Photoshop program you can then take the untouched photography and touch it up changing the background and scenery to be as you desire for the photograph to look. This increased technology has taken photography to an entirely new photographic field. Backdrops and elegant costumes create an enviornment around them for photographers to produce a seamlessly artistic renditon of a new reality or environment around them.
