Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho is the next big thing in the Marathi film industry. Mahesh Manjrekar and Everest films already proved to be a record-breaking combination after the release of Mi Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy. And if anybody thought that Marathi film industry doesn't have the fortitude of making larger than life films, they are wrong!

Nobody can deny the fact that, Mi Shivajiraje Bhosle Boltoy had a ground-breaking success all over India. And now, Mahesh Manjrekar has decided to aim the educational system keeping in mind the father-son relationship which is indisputably going to be an eye-opener.

The movie focuses on the father-son relationship, wherein the father wants his son to get his mind out of cricket and concentrate on studies but his son adored Sachin Tendulkar and hated his father with equal passion as he had great passion for cricket and wanted to be a cricketer. Here starts the rivalry between father and son.

The movie stars some of the best Marathi actors with the likes of Bharat Jadhav, Sachin Khedekar, Siddharth Jadhav, Kranti Redkar, Gauri Vaidya and last but not the least, Saksham Kulkarni, who will play the central character of Shrinivas Madhukar Rane the harassed student and son of Bharat Jadhav.

Shrinivas Rane, who was an average student not because of lack of effort, but because he was born with average academic intelligence, but when it came to cricket he was a born Genius. His extraordinary talent was lost on his father who like millions of other parents believed that a child's intellect is only reflected in their mark sheet, which eventually will give them a very "secure future". So starts his quest to make shree the brightest and best student in the world. But Shree can't handle this pressure and it reflects on his psyche. The relation between father and son deteriorates and there comes a time when in a fit of anger the father does something which makes him repent his actions.

Mahesh Manjrekar has chosen yet another sensitive and much talked about cognized topic. This is a kind of movie which people can relate to and will connect well with audience of all ages.

There has always been question raised whether education is proving to be physical, mental, psychological pressures on a school going child or not? Whether parents are presurrising their children too much for education? What a child wants to do? What a child is good at? And should he pursue what he is good at or should be listening to his parents and peers? All these questions will be answered and be given a picturesque illustration in the form of Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho.

Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho is slated to release on 15th January 2010 and a week later will see the release of Salman Khan's Veer. Though the movie has a stiff competition, but this one's for everyone and will captivate minds pretty quickly. Get ready for yet another hard-hitting Mahesh Manjrekar movie at the beginning of 2010! A controversial nameā€¦on rather a controversial subject!
