Save Money While Going Green with the Solar Panel Rebate

Australians who have been thinking about installing a solar panel on their home or business now have an additional incentive with the Solar Panel Rebate scheme. Through the Australian government solar panel rebate scheme, those who install solar panels can earn thousands of dollars back. This is the government's way of encouraging green living, and it provides cash-strapped homeowners with a way to make installing solar panels financially feasible.

With the Solar Power Rebate, those who install solar renewable energy systems receive a rebate based on the number of kW of capacity the system has. This is done through Renewable Energy Credits, which are priced based on market trends and the amount of energy the system is able to generate.

The solar panel rebate money can be paid in one of two ways. Homeowners can receive the money as cash to use as they wish, or they can apply the rebate amount toward the installation of the system. Either way, the solar power rebate is substantial, making it green living and even more viable option for today's homeowners.

This solar panel rebate using solar credits and Renewable Energy Certificates replaces the old Solar Homes and Communities Plan (SHCP). Homeowners who installed systems in hopes of getting a solar panel rebate under the SHCP plan will be able to get it under the new program, provided their system meets the requirements. The Australian government solar panel rebate scheme is only available for a limited period of time, so interested homeowners need to act quickly to have their systems installed before the rebate is gone.

National Solar Power installs solar panels and solar power systems for home owners, commercial enterprises and government organisations. National Solar Power also part of the Water & Energy Savers group which has been providing environmental solutions across Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
