Samsung announced the launches two new entry-level digital compact cameras - the 7.2 mega-pixel S760 and the 8.1 mega pixel S860 in the market-

The Samsung Digimax S760 is an entry level digital camera. It has a very low price tag and one of its main strengths is ease of use. The Samsung S760 is a compact camera with 7.2 million effective pixels and 7.2 million sensor photo detectors. This allows the Samsung S760 digital camera to produce even better images and take detailed photos for printing up to poster size. This Samsung digital camera has a 38 mm - 114 mm zoom lens. The maximum resolution provided is 3072 x 2304 and the minimum resolution is 640 x 480. In addition, the SAMSUNG S760 has a 3x optical and 3x digital zoom giving 9x total zoom when combined. Samsung S760 offers shooters Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) to help minimize the effect of camera shake and produce sharp, clear images, especially in low-light environments. This allows the Samsung S860 to produce even better images and take detailed photos for printing up to poster size. In addition, the Samsung S860 has a 3x optical and 3x digital zoom giving 9x total zoom when combined. Samsung S860 digital camera is equipped with Samsung's advanced image processing technology and Samsung's Intelligent Face Recognition Technology. Samsung's Intelligent Face Recognition Technology, detects the subject's face and automatically adjusts auto focus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality in portraits.
