Many fans of pocket size digital cameras adore the wide range of features that allow them to take great photos every time. Most people aren't interested in reading thick manuals just learn how to take a picture. Because technology moves at such a rapid pace, many camera makers are finding it difficult to keep up. These rapid advancements though also happen to be driving sales in this industry. Keep reading to learn about different Canon pocket size digital cameras and the features they each offer.

First up, let's take a look at the Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR. It has a mega-zoom feature that may appeal to some. The 12 megapixels of this camera are great for large prints. It is reasonably priced considering it does have advanced functions. The are three modes of EXR that can be selected for the EXR sensor. What that does is it essentially makes the F80 a three in one type of camera. You can choose between highest resolution, optimum dynamic range, and lowest possible noise for the different modes. Taking it a step further, the F80EXR will also automatically analyze the scene and make the best choice for you. The next camera we will be looking at is the Nikon Coolpix S3000. After all, Nikon has been around long enough to be shown some respect. The inexpensive price tag on this ultra-compact camera make it a good option for those with less of a budget. But the S3000 is not a lot above what we would consider to be average, unfortunately. It has all the standard features you would expect with 12 megapixels, etc. But it's LCD screen is a disappointment as it can be quite difficult to see in the sunlight. Being mostly made of plastic gives this camera a cheap look. The image quality of this camera is average which will only produce average picture quality. This camera is for a specific budget and is designed to simply get the job done, nothing more.

Last in line, the Canon PowerShot S95 which is has a full complement of manual features for those who like to work with their hands. This little gem takes note worthy photos as well. This camera's resolution is more reasonable at 10 megapixels and comes with a multimedia card, SD memory card, and a 3 inch LCD. It use the pop-up variety of flash. Because there was nothing wrong with the great features of the S90, they were brought forward to this newer model. For the S95, they improved the video resolution to 720p. Another feature is you can now capture up to three photos at different intervals of exposure. The camera uses these captured photos to give you one photo with more detail in all respects.

Too many terrific digital pocket sized cameras with fabulous features, right? We're seeing a lot of follow up designs now to correct the shortcomings that weren't noticeable until after production. But there is nothing wrong with that. When looking for a ultra compact camera, keep in mind that people have various uses for their cameras.
