Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have been hogging the gossip spotlight for the last few weeks for their alleged romance. Though they haven’t quite admitted to their mushy romance, the tabloid world is more than certain that they are real life couples.

However, after Piggy Chops flew off to Berlin to shoot for Don 2, the murmurs had begun speaking of a possible break up. But those who watched their episode of ‘Koffee with Karan’ would vouch for the fact that they conjure up a pretty smouldering chemistry together. During the show, Shahid teased Priyanka endlessly and Piggy behaved absolutely like a pampered girlfriend.

And if the latest buzz is to be believed then it would appear that the duo is set to welcome the New Year together. Reportedly, Priyanka is gearing up to take a flight to Chandigarh to join the cosy company of her beau. Shahid, who is maintaining a low profile these days, is in Chandigarh where he is filming for his dad Pankaj Kapur’s film ‘Mausam.’

Whispers are rife that Shahid may take her away to a resort where the two can privately snuggle and cuddle. Well, the gals would be pretty red seeing that Priyanka is romancing with the nation’s heart throb.

The latest buzz in B-Town revolves around Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor, who are reported to have exchanged rings on New Year’s Eve in Chandigarh.

But Piggy Chops, who had earlier said that she would be ringing in the New Year with her family and close friends in Goa, where he is shooting for Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor’s ‘Mausam’, dismissed her engagement talks as mere rumors.

She had said earlier, “I am spending New Years Eve in Goa with my family and a gal pal. We have planned loads of fun stuff to do.”

According to a close source, Priyanka Chopra did not spend her New Year as planned and instead headed to Chandigarh, where she and her ‘Kaminey’ co-star, allegedly got engaged.

It’s heard that both the stars had rung in the New Year together in Goa. Incidentally, PC had maintained that she will be celebrating with her family and close friend alone while Shahid was said to be in Chandigarh, shooting for Pankaj Kapoor’s ‘Mausam’. However, sources revealed that lover boy Sasha joined Priyanka in Goa on Dec 31 and the two had a blast partying.
