New Stars Of Bollywood

Bollywood is seeing an increasing number of talented stars. Many upcoming Bollywood movies are casting new stars over reputed artists because their movies mostly pull the audience to theatres.

In Addition youth oriented films need young artists. Several new actors in Hindi film industry have started their career successfully in Hindi movies.

Bollywood's adored chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor initially seemed like a one hit wonder with Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar in 2003. There followed a long list of flop films until he struck gold with Jab We Met, in which he acted with Kareena Kapoor. The talented young actor proved that he could act brilliantly in the critically acclaimed hit Kaminey. He is starring as the main character in upcoming Bollywood films Milenge Milenge (with Kareena Kapoor)and in his father's first film as a director, Mausam (with Sonam Kapoor).

In Contrast the vibrant promising actor Ranbir Kapoor, son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh could not make it big with his debut film Saawariya. Nonetheless he won the Filmfare trophy for the Best Male Debut actor for his character in Saawariya.

His following movie Bachna Ae Haseeno attracted public to cinema halls and received good response from the critics. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Wake Up Sid evoked mixed reaction and reviews however both were successful films. His newest movies include Rajneeti and Anjaana Anjaani with Priyanka Chopra both movies released last year.

Abhay Deol is one more gifted new star who is famous for his variety selection of movies and characters. In 2005, he chose Socha Na Tha as his first movie which was quite an unlikely selection for a debut actor. The movie could not garner excitement with the crowd. The 2008 film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye was a blockbuster and brought good reviews for his offbeat acting.

In Anurag Kashyap's film Dev D, his excellent performance was well appreciated and took his career to a new level. He will be starring in forthcoming Hindi movies Rajshri Ojha's Aisha and Zoya Akhtar's Running with the Bulls.
