Jay Leno vs Conan O'Brien - Which host would you watch?

Many people have been following along for the duration of the Jay Leno vs. Conan O'Brien vs. NBC battle. This "Tonight Show" problem is getting NBC a ton of bad press; they have been scrambling with all their might to censor Americans from seeing what is really going on. The network seems to want to pit Jay Leno vs. Conan O'Brien, when in fact it's the network screwing both of them.

The whole mess began in 1992 when Johnny Carson said his last goodbye and handed the reins of the show over to a big-chinned jolly guy named Jay Leno. Jay Leno ran the Tonight Show for 17 years, until last May he handed over the reins to "Late Night" host Conan O'Brien. Apparently, this had been in the works for 5 years, and Conan was definitely aware that he was going to succeed Jay as the next Tonight show host.

After Jay Leno handed over the reins of The Tonight Show to Conan Obrien, his own show was moved to the 10:00 slot. There was a whole generation that watched Johnny Carson who didn't want to adjust to the new schedule. Jay Leno lost many of his best viewers, and basically NBC decided that the move was a flop. So instead of accepting that one of their biggest brands isn't what it used to be (the brand of Jay Leno); they are booting Conan out of the Tonight Show.

Many people, including NBC are trying to say "oh no, we aren't taking the tonight show from him! we're just bumping up the time!". Bullshit. The Tonight Show has always been at 11:35 for almost a damn century. When you push it to 12:35, you're cutting out a big chunk of the primetime audience and effectively making it "The Tomorrow Show". Conan doesn't want to host the tomorrow show.

Many are pitting this as Jay vs Conan when in fact its the network screwing both of them. Both hosts have said in the past that there is no tension between them. This move forces tension between them without either of their consent (well, im sure Jay doesn't mind going back to his old slot). In the end it comes down to who can get more A-list guests and apparently Conan was whooping Jays ass at 11:35.
