For well-off people who have been trying to get pregnant and have failed, infertility cost on treatment and other solutions would not be much of an issue. However, for the majority, it is something one cannot take lightly. This is because the price tag to have a baby is sometimes much too high to pay.

At most, you may start to have numerous visits to the clinic or to your doctor regarding your condition as a couple. Tests will be made and these tests are not for free. There are other options like financing and loans but only if you qualify for it. The screening process is not necessarily easy to pass with flying colors.

Some tests include checking of hormones and pituitary glands of the couple. This type of examinations may range from $40 to $200 per person. Other tests include checking of the sperm, FSH and other routinary procedures to determine the cause of the infertility.

Further tests may take place if these initial tests prove to be undeterminable. Checking of the fallopian tubes and other parts of the reproductive system in both man and woman, may give you an infertility cost of around $3000. This amount is without the bills for the medicine or pills that might be prescribed for you to take.

Not to give any discouragement over such possible amounts that you might possibly be billed for, it is advisable to save up before anything else. Keep some extra money as well for unexpected treatments later on.

As a couple, you have many options to choose from regarding which clinic would be cheaper in terms of routine exams and which ones would be ideally reasonable for your budget. Still, it has to be said that a process of in vitro fertilization or in vitro maturation will be quite an expensive undertaking on infertility cost. Prepare an amount somewhere in the vicinity of $20,000 to $45, 000 to have that window of opportunity to be pregnant.
