Got a blind date, or need to have your photo taken tomorrow? Got a big, nasty zit on your face? I know how you feel cause I've been there and done that more than once. It's not the end of the world, as a matter of fact you could be zitless by tomorrow;o)!

So we need to get rid of those zits fast, right! These are some tried and proven techniques, that I'm about to share with you. You could zap those zits, and feel confident on your date or photo-op.

Although everyone is different, and these techniques may not work for all, you really should try different things out and stick to what works the best for you. Some cases of acne and the resulting zits can be so severe that you really should talk to your doctor, or damage to your skin, and in some cases severe scaring could result.

These methods I'm going to share with you are really for trying to get rid of that one immense, nasty zit on your face fast...like, by tomorrow maybe? Check it out and see if these tips will be effective for you:

1. Place a small dab of toothpaste on the zit (use the paste kind, not the jell) leave it on overnight, it should dry (which will help to dry the zit out.)

The next morning heat a towel in hot water (as hot as you can stand) and place it on the zit, if there is a whitehead, the hot towel should be applied until the pore opens up and you can gently remove the pus (don't squeeze the zit, instead push down on the skin on both sides of it.)

Now gently wash the affected area with warm soapy water. That's it! Hopefully that gross zit is a thing of your past!

2. In a bowl mix a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of ground cinnamon together, and apply to the zit, scrubbing the area gently.

Leave it on overnight, and the next morning apply the wet heated towel (as hot as you can stand) to soften the skin and bring the zit to a head if it's to that stage of development. Remove the pus (if present) by lancing the whitehead with a sterile needle and pushing down on the skin beside the zit (don't squeeze it very hard, or you can spread the infection, and make things worse.)

3. Gently wash the zit with warm water and acne soap (or any mild soap will do.)
Bring a pan of water to a boil on the stove, and add about ten drops of tea tree oil to it. Let cool until you are able to wet a towel and apply it to the affected area, continue doing this until the zit develops a whitehead.

Sterilize a needle and lance the whitehead by piercing the very center of the whitehead, then push down on the skin on all sides of the zit to remove the pus, don't squeeze the zit hard or you could make things worse.

Wash again with warm water and soap and gently pad dry with a towel.

Give these methods a try and see if you can't zap your zits fast! Good luck with your date, photo op or whatever it is you got going on.
