The Sky plus box has a large capacity hard drive installed, allowing you to record many hours of your favourite programmes at the touch of a button. It has the capability to pause and rewind live TV whenever you wish, allowing you to make a cup of tea or take a break from a film half way through, and then resume when you return. Alternatively, if you miss a key bit of action or a goal in a sports match, you can rewind to see what you missed. With new internet services, you can even set reminders or plan recordings from the internet or even from your mobile. This allows up to 185 hours of standard definition TV to be planned and recorded in advance, ready for you to watch at your leisure.

Sky plus HD

There are other Sky plus deals that are available, specifically Sky plus HD box deals. The Sky plus HD box gives you access to the amazing world of high definition TV. High definition programmes are up to 5 times as detailed as standard definition programmes, and have an added vibrancy of colour and clarity. In addition to this, the sound quality is unmatched and when combined with the crystal clear images, you will feel as if you truly are part of the action.

At present there are up to 44 HD channels available, so there is plenty of choice in the world of HD. And you can record up to 30 hours of HD programming with a Sky Plus HD box, meaning that you can watch all your favourite programmes whenever you want, in stunning HD.
