Excellent Chinese Oil Painting Artist Yuan Zheng-yang Arts Review

Artist Yuan Zheng-yang's oil painting art is different with traditional academism, and is mutually exclusive to modern painting, China artistic conception, and Chinese mood are objects he pursued and performed with great effort in his artworks.

Artist Yuan Zheng-yang is familiar with traditional Chinese paintings, we can see many of techniques of Chinese painting have been implanted into the picture in many of his oil painting works.

Yuan Zheng-yang, male, who was born in Sep. 1955 in Chongqing, Sichuan, China

In 1971, Yuan Zheng-yang joined the army; In 1972 took advanced studies in Sichuan Academy of Sichuan; In 1984 entered into PLA Art Institute to take advanced studies, and after the completion of schooling, Yuan Zheng-yang acted as an editor of fine arts in PLA Daily. Now Yuan Zheng-yang is member of Chinese Artists Association, who is adept at oil painting, Chinese painting and comic strip.

The 1st & 2nd Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition;

Century Exhibition for Chinese Portrait Oil Painting Art;

National Art Exhibition for the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the PLA;

and so on.

Awarded Artworks:

Comic strip "Wreathes at Foot of Mountain (cooperative)" won the second prize at the 3rd National Comic Strip Awards;

Chinese Painting "Wanyuan Defensive War" was been selected to participate The Art Exhibition for 55th Anniversary of the Founding of PLA, and has been collected by China Art Gallery.

Oil Painting "Shepherdess" was selected into China Oil Painting Exhibition.
