One of the largest and most successful industries in the Philippines today is the call center industry. According to industry experts, the industry makes up 70% of the BPO (Business Process Outsource) industry of the Philippines. And one of the main reasons why the call center industry had gained success is because of their live answering services that catered to many needs of many businesses in and out of the country.

Successful Industry
According to industry experts, the main reason why the call center industry had grown massively within only a decade is because of the industry’s continuous expansion in many markets in the Philippines. And this is because of their live answering service that not only aimed to offer call center services to large companies and corporations, but also to offer Business Answering Service to small and medium businesses.

Start of the Call Center Industry
The call center industry first started when a few third-party companies had offered call center services such as customer care and technical support to their clients in conjunction with email response and managing services. Eventually, because of the usefulness of the service, the demand for Live Answering Service had steadily grown.

Because of the sheer demand for call center services, many new third-party companies, known now as call center companies, had been established to provide the kind of service that the market demands. However, other than the growth of the call center companies and agencies, the number of new call center services had also grown.

New Call Center Services
Because of the growth of new call center companies and agencies in the Philippines, the number of live answering services had also grown in the industry. Other than customer care and technical support, new call center services such as Order taking services, reservation services, travel services, educational services, financial services, as well as a number of business-to-business answering services were also introduced in the market.

Because of this, the call center industry had been given access to other markets that didn’t found any use of call center services in the past. Popular example was offering order taking services and reservation services to restaurants and hotels, as well as live answering services to clinics and hospitals.

Eventually, the call center industry had expanded to almost every market of every industry in the Philippines which led to the industry’s expansion to the global market in which the Philippines is now considered as the call center capital of the world.
