If you are equipped with great knowledge about natural skin care it will help you in maintaining the health and beauty of your skin. Perhaps, extensive research can help. But for now, let me share with you some of the basics so you will have an idea of what it is about.
The most basic natural skin care is to simply stick to what’s natural. You need to have adequate amount of sleep and rest to promote skin regeneration. Skin is regenerated every time you sleep. So it can help a lot if you will get plenty of uninterrupted sleep. You should strive for at least 6 to 8 hours at night and have a short nap in the afternoon.
You should also drink a lot of fluid to hydrate your skin. This can help in preventing your skin from drying out. You should take 8 to 12 glasses of water or fruit juices per day. Fruit juices are also good for your health because they contain vitamins and minerals. For instance, you can get Vitamin C from citrus juices, which are a known antioxidant. This antioxidant can clean your skin by getting rid of the harmful free radicals.

You should also have a regular exercise program to promote circulation to your skin. Good circulation cannot only make your skin healthy but all your body parts and organs as well.
You should have at minimum a 15-minute walk per day. If you are able having 30 minutes of a cardio work out a day, which means getting your heart rate up to 65% - 85% of your maximum heart rate. You find this number subtract your age form 220 and multiply that number by .65 and .85 and keep your heat rate between those two numbers. Check with a physician before beginning any exercise routine, but certainly make it a priority in your life.
For basic care of your skin you should apply natural skin care products topically. But you need to be wise in choosing these products. You should consider products with grapeseed oil, natural Vitamin E, Babassu, and Shea butter.
These substances will nourish your skin and help to rejuvenate it. It is not enough to see these ingredients on the ingredient label. The product should contain high level of these ingredients.
