Ajay Devgan - A Talented Actor

A good filmmaker, producer and of course an amazing actor, Vishal Veeru Devgan, is none other than Ajay Devgan. He is married to the talented film actress Kajol. He is the first actor in Bollywood to have an aircraft that he uses to go to shooting venue and for promotional activities also.

Ajay Devgan, son of famous stunt director Veeru Devgan, debuted in Bollywood with the romantic film Phool Aur Kaante. He was awarded the Best Debutant Award in Filmfare. His next movie, Jigar, with Karishma Kapoor was another blockbuster. He has also experimented with action genre in Platform and Ek Hi Raasta. He worked with famous director Harry Baweja to make blockbusters like Suhaag, Vijaypath and Dilwale.

Ajay Devgan acted in Ishq, which is a rom-com after doing many action oriented Hindi films. In the year 1998, he acted in the film Zakhm, which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. He appeared in popular director Ram Gopal Varma's two movies in Hindi. Both of the films, named Bhoot and Company, could attract a large crowd at the box office. He was recognized by the Critics as the Best Performer in Filmfare Awards for the film The Legend Of Bhagat Singh, the movie was a failure. This film fetched him National Award for the second time.

After acting in a number of romantic and action movies, Ajay Devgan acted in Deewangee, in which had a negative role. This movie won him a lot of awards in category of villain. He portrayed negative roles in Khakee and Kaal also. His popular film in 2003 was the action movie Qayamat - City Under Threat, which was spectacularly made and also shown many modern, technological devices. Gangaajal, directed by Prakash Jha was another huge success of Ajay. His movies Rajneeti and Halla Bol were also set up in a political background.

The combination of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan came up with 3 popular comical films named Golmaal, Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3. In 2010 Ajay appeared in the 3-D animated movie, Toonpur Ka Super Hero, where he enacts the character of a movie star who gets kidnapped by the cartoon characters of Toonpur.

He will showcase his brilliant performances in upcoming projects in Bollywood, such as Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji, Singam and Tezz.
