I have been fascinated in the world of Photography. Thanks to the latest technology, Digital Photography is inexpensive. You would no longer be spending money for those films as you can easily reload your Digital cameras with memory cards and make a lot of trial and error shots without spending time in the dark room. Take some time to practice those shots and who knows you might bag a reward in a photo contest or better yet, showcase your artistry. Let us start from learning the different types of photography for beginners.

The oldest form of photography is the black and white photos. It may sound funny, but amateur photographers are challenged by this type of photos. The absence of color known as monochrome can create dramatic styles on the subject. Still Life photography that deals with inanimate object is a good start for budding photographers. You can control the lighting and the subjects creating geometrical symmetry. Start from flower shots or fruit shots. Basically, these are used for product shots.

One of my favorite types of photography is the Nature Shots. Nature soothes our soul and gives us a better point of view in life. Careful framing of subject is necessary to capture the beauty of nature. Night Photos are nice to see. You capture the lights as it comes to life. You can do a lot of experiments. Establish that lighting effects that viewers may see the grandeur of the photos you shoot.

Capture Image with story to tell. Good travel photos are clear, simple and has a very nice color combined with proper lightings. Take a shot of those people you meet along the way, capture their emotions through your camera. These shots are called Travel Shots, get that water proof camera and capture the mystery of the deepest sea with your underwater camera. Perhaps the most important thing is that you enjoy every snap of the camera.
