In order to repair your broken blushes and eye shadows you'll need a small or medium bowl, 70% isopropyl alcohol, a piece of cloth such as an old shirt, a completely flat object to sit over makeup container, and finally your cracked makeup.

First, take the makeup and scrape out every little piece out and into the bowl you got our earlier. Once it's inside the bowl you want to crush the bits into a very fine powder. What I like to do is grab one of your brushes out of your makeup brush holder and use the end of the brush to do this.

The next step is to pour some of the isopropyl alcohol into the bowl and start stirring it up. It's important to make sure not to introduce too much liquid. If you have any large clumps in there after putting the alcohol in and mixing it up that is an indication you should add some more to break it up.

You probably aren't going to get the process right the first time but once you get the hang of the technique it is a good skill to have.

Now that the mixture is ready to go, put it back in and fill the container you took the blush or eye shadow out of and even it out with a cotton swab, making sure it is equally distributed. The next step is to let the makeup sit out for a few hours.

After a few hours have passed, take the flat object ready along with the old t-shirt or other kind of cloth. Put the cloth down on top of the makeup, then put your flat object on top while pressing down lightly. Once again, this should be done after it has been airing out! |This|This step} is crucial to insure your final product is super smooth.
