For more than 20 years Chad Scott Nellis, founder of Peak Life Yoga, has been dedicated to the path of human revolution. A revolution not against anyone else, but a personal revolution to challenge and transform all forces into a force for value creation. Through this journey he has helped transform the lives of hundreds of individuals through one on one mentoring, life coaching, the teachings of yoga and his music.

After pursuing a professional sports career in college Chad suffered major injuries which forced him to re-evaluate his path and purpose, a time to which he now has immense appreciation. As he puts it, "Injuries may have derailed me from my first dream, but it opened the door to my ultimate dream I didn't even know I had." An introduction to his first yoga class in 1996 at Bikram Yoga in Los Angeles opened the door to an unexpected cascade of opportunities for massive personal growth.

Yoga Mastery

Over the last 14 years Chad has studied and practiced various forms of yoga with over 100 teachers including: Brian Kest - 8 years LA, CA (poweryoga.com), Seane Corn - 2 years LA, CA(seanecorn.com) Baron Baptiste -Yoga Journal Workshop SF, CA(baronbaptiste.com), Paul Grilley (PaulGrilley.com) and Bikram Choudhury 2 years -LA, CA (Bikramyoga.com).

From these studies Chad has now created a versatile blend of power vinyansa yoga, which addresses the need for challenge, fun, self-honor, self reflection, self-confidence, discipline, flexibility and strength. Chad says of his teaching style, "I never make people do anything, I simply encourage them to honor what they need. Sometimes you need to push yourself to get to the next level and sometimes you just need to back off and rest, only you know what you need.

Yoga is a doorway to enlightenment, an invaluable tool to bring out your fullest potential. It's not just for girls either. I grew up playing football, went to a Division 1 college to play football and spent most my childhood hurtling myself off jumps and cliffs with a pair of skis or a snowboard. What I realized was yoga not only healed me from most my injuries but enabled me to become even better at sports."

Testimonials:

"Chad's class is handsdown the best class I've ever attended. I struggled at the beginning, but was so encouraged by what he said and how he guided me that I've continued on for over a year now. Over that time I've developed a great amount of strength and flexibility not only in the body but also in the mind. I feel much more focused in general and my body feels and looks better. Not only that but its helped me immensely with my back problems and reversed epicondylitis."
