Hydroxy acids- alpha, beta and poly hydroxyl acids are used in wrinkle creams as exfoliants. These remove the dead skin cells on the top layer of the skin to help the skin replace it with new skin. Always make sure to wear sun block whenever going out of the house because this increases the susceptibility of the skin to the sun.

L-Ascorbic Acid is a vitamin C derivative which is commonly found in wrinkle creams. Beside from being an anti-oxidant, there are other purposes why this is included in wrinkle cream formulas. This specific form enhances the production of collagen in the skin. This also protects the skin from the harmful rays of the sun.

Coenzyme Q10will always be present in anti-aging products. This specific nutrient regulates the activity of the cells in the body. This is added to wrinkle creams since it works as an effective anti-oxidant. This helps in the repair of the skin cells, reducing the formation of fine lines and wrinkles on the skin. The application of this on the affected area will enhance skin cell repair giving smoother and younger-looking skin.

Anti-wrinkle creams do help in reducing wrinkle formation on the face. These may make the fine lines less visible but these do not guarantee to erase them completely.
