A lot of people think of becoming a Brisbane Magician as they are fascinated at how the tricks fooled them. It is nice to feel that you know the secret to a magic trick that confuses everyone else. However, sadly the magic is also taken away from that trick as soon as you know. Once you are proficient magician and perform more complicated magic tricks you will be less likely to be amazed and more likely impressed at the skill of the magicians instead of the mystery of the magic tricks.
Magicians are generally male. In fact, there is only one full time female stage comedy magician in Queensland. Some men get into magic to learn ice-breakers when flirting with women. Most men that are magicians in Brisbane just find it fascinating that a deck of cards can leave a group of adult speechless.

Performing magic will only take about 4-6 hours of your week. However, looking for work and marketing yourself to a professional level with keep you up until the late hours of the night. It will make you work about 14 hour days seven days a week.

It’s very important that you put your heart and soul into becoming a magician and also the marketing behind it in order to be able to constantly regenerate work for yourself.

There is no right or wring answer – only the answer that is correct for you. The best option is to work your normal job dring the week and perform at the weekends. After a year take a step back and decide if you are interested in taking the next step and risking your job for your talent.
