The real question is what will be the role of the Fallen in Transformers: revenge of the fallen. The Fallen was one of the original 13 Transformers that were created. It was the Fallen who corrupts Megatron into forming and later on leading the Decepticons. The Fallen gets locked in another dimension and communicates with the Decepticons via an inter-dimensional window. His distorted face is used as an insignia by the Decepticons.

In the movie Transformers 2, as the next release Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is titled, he transforms into a Cybertronian aircraft. Now there are a lot of speculations about the role that he will be playing in the sequel. The point of interest would be to see is his return from another dimensional. This would border on the theory of the black holes and nothing is able to escape from the intense gravitational force of a black hole. If the Fallen has been trapped in a similar situation we will see how he gets released from it. This would add a nice science fiction touch to the movie.

As most story tellers are forecasting that the Fallen starts recruiting Decepticons for his own force. He then takes on the Decepticons and wages battle against them. The Autobots and Decepticons are now faced by a new enemy; that is the Fallen. So they decide to join forces to destroy the Fallen and his band of Decepticons. Whether they succeed or not, we will find out in the movie when it runs in the theatre.

Will the Fallen return to the folds of the Decepticons and join with Megatron? Who with his new found energy wants to destroy the Autobots? Whether the Fallen will try and take revenge for being locked up for years in another dimension? Will he try to destroy the Decepticons and the Autobots?

The film producers looked through the comic series and decided to introduce the Fallen in Transformers 2. But what will he be doing in the movie is being closely guarded. If he is leading an independent army of Transformers and is consumed by the same greed for ultimate power, then his role will be enthralling. It will add a new twist to the movie by introducing a third power. This should make the movie more interesting.

Some theorists believe that the title Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hinges on the Decepticon the ‘Fallen’. The entire movie is about the Fallen who is seeking revenge from the Decepticons and the Autobots. He shares the same greed and ambitions as Megatron and wants to become the leader of the universe. So the entire movie is going to revolve around the Fallen.

Will the Fallen again become Megatron's adviser and continue to further corrupt him? Or will he turn against Megatron? For this we will have to wait for the movie. But putting the Fallen just to add his weight to the Decepticons will not be a real thriller so his role will definitely be expanded.
If the Fallen comes out as a leader then there will be battles between three forces. The Autobots will have to face off the Decepticons, their archenemies, and the Fallen. If the Fallen is seeking revenge from the Decepticons then there will be so much more thrills and action in store for the fans.
