There are ways to get pregnant even if you have PCOS. Polycystic ovary syndrome is fairly common. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services state that one in ten women of childbearing age has PCOS so you should not feel alone. There are fertility options for you if you want to get pregnant but it is up to you to decide if you want to undergo these fertility treatments and if you can afford them.

Undergoing fertility treatments is a difficult decision to make and it can be a scary experience. The best way to not make it a frightening experience is to arm yourself with information on what fertility treatments are available and what each treatment entails. If these drugs alone do not work, other procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) can be used. Here is a list of several more procedure you should be aware of:

2. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
3. Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT)
4. Zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT)
5. Use of egg donors
6. Use of gestational carriers

This list is a just a partial list of what is available but each situation is different. Depending on various factors, your doctor may recommend using only a few of these procedures.
