Anyway, lets start from the beginning..

Gavin and Stacey Series 1

Gavin, 28, is an ordinary lad from Essex, and Stacey, 27, is an ordinary girl from Barry in Wales.

They get talking on the phone, and after months of flirting arrange to meet up in London, each of them with their best friend, Smithy and Nessa. When they do finally meet up, their very different worlds collide, and romance blossoms between both parties.

Gavin travels back to Barry the next day to suprise Stacey and ask her to marry him. She says yes of course!

Gavin and Stacey's families meet each other, and hit it off straight away.

The day before the wedding however, a big secret is unearthed. Noone is sure if the wedding is even going to go ahead, and Nessa has some huge news for everyone.

Gavin and Stacey Series 2

Gavin and Stacey get back from their honeymoon, but Smithys angry at them for not getting in touch when they were away.

That night the two families ruin their mutual friends chance of a threesome, and Nessa tells Smithy that shes pregnant, causing Smithy to go AWOL.

Gavin and Stacey have hit a snag in their marriage - They are now both living in Gavin's parents house, and Stacey is missing Barry so much that she moves back. Will they be fixable?

At the end of the series, Nessa goes into labour.. But it's a race against time for Gavin and Smithy to get their for the birth of Smithy's first child.

Gavin and Stacey Series 3

Nessa's new boyfriend 'Dave Coaches' asks her to marry him, and she agrees.

Stacey has found a new job in Barry, while Gavin is debating whether or not he should get a new job and move up to Cardiff to be closer to his wife, or stay down in Essex with his best friend.

Smithy is being the doting father whenever he can see his son, as he is living with his mother Nessa, up in Barry.

Stacey and Gavin start trying for a baby, only to be told that Gavin has a low sperm count and might not be able to have children.

At the end of the series, the wedding day has finally arrived, but who knows whats going to happen. Also, Stacey reveals some huge news to Gavin.
