As an environmentalist, I am concerned with everything that happens around me. People are unaware but little actions can contribute to making this planet either better or worse. Because of the advancements in modern technology, we have been blinded by the harmful effects that they bring not only to the environment but also to our health. And I believe there is nothing more effective means of solving environmental pollution by joining hands and helping to clean up or surroundings and that includes waste treatment.

We all know that the sewage water has to undergo treatments so that it can be used continuously by industries. The process also allows less health hazards for humans and other living creatures. If there will be no treatment then the wastes could accumulate and could promote growth of bacteria and algae that could be very detrimental to one's health.

Because these effluents can be recycled they can go back to the environment. If the water if left untreated then diseases like diarrhea and amoebiasis would arise. And so in order to prevent this from happening, certain machines are invented and designed to serve this purpose. It is essential that home and industrial companies have to treat their effluents by water treatment plants so that we can have safe water for use.

Problems with water scarcity can be solved if we start doing our part now. Water treatments can help solve this crisis because if we just take the effluents for granted, they will pose more danger in the future. Toxic wastes and harmful chemicals and biologics can be found in these wastes. This makes these wastes great candidates for treatment. Burning them at extreme temperature may be helpful and the energy produced can be used.

The truth is certain substances found in these effluents are biodegradable which means that they can be recycled thus creating new matter and reducing the waste disposal's cost. If you participate in this process you can also become an environmentalist. Our goal here is to take care of the environment and treat water in order to be safe for use. This is also very cost effective so everyone can really cooperate. If we can do this, we are also making our planet a better place to live in. Let us join hands and spread the word so that this movement will become successful because this is not only for the environment; this is also for us and our kids.
