Everybody wants their skin to look young and bright. But it’s not that easy to maintain perfect skin in this fast paced life. You have to plan your diet and adjust your life style for that. You must have a healthy diet enriched with vitamins B, C, E, A and K and minerals that help to keep your skin fresh and glowing. Be sure to include fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole foods into your everyday meals. Along with this, don't forget to drink lots of water.
Once in a week you can apply face packs which is suitable for your skin type. But remember that wearing a thick layer of make-up on your face everyday may damage your perfect skin. Always remove your make-up fully at the end of the day and let your skin breath. And try not to wear any makeup at least one day per week to give your face a break and allow natural sun and air to enrich it. Try to avoid doing this to maintain healthy and glowing skin, but if you are using marketed beauty products always test before using them. Apply a small amount of it on your wrist or arm and wait for 24 hours. If you don't have any allergic symptoms then it is safe to use that product.

A good daily skin care routine includes four basic steps: cleansing, exfoliating, toning and moisturising. Cleansing removes the dust and dirt that choke the pores on the skin. Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells and facial scrubs can help clean the surface of the skin. A toner helps to remove any residual cleanser or make-up that may have been left behind and it also helps to restore the natural pH level of the skin. A light moisturising cream can give a smooth finish to make-up and will reduce the risk of dragging the skin.
Applying a face pack once a week can increase the fairness and smoothness of your skin. It can also give necessary nourishment to the skin and can even heal damaged skin to some extent. But above all of these, it is very important to maintain your general health by eating nutritious food and by drinking enough water. In fact, beautiful skin is the reflection of a body that is functioning properly. Everybody has almost perfect skin by birth as it is our natural birth right. We simply have to take good care of it to continue that right.
