A recent study was released by IBISWorld with a list of top 10 dying industries. The very top of the list was land line telecommunication. As far as the home goes, there aren't many people who have land lines anymore. They either use their cell phones or VoIP phone systems. And in businesses, VoIP is definitely the killer of the typical landlines. That's because it has a lot of benefits over these services.

VoIP is an over all cheaper alternative to landlines for a few reasons. Service usually only costs a flat monthly or annual fee. Landlines often charge by minute.
