Tomasz Rut currently resides in Hollywood, Florida. As a child, his mother was a painter and encouraged Rut in his pursuit for an artists’ career. She introduced him to the artworks of the past that still inspire Rut today. Rut’s career blossomed, and is now revered as a modern day Rubens, Caravaggio and Michelangelo. Rut’s graceful strokes creates imagery that jumps of the canvass through color and technique.

With that said, Tomasz Rut was trained in Art conservation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, continued his education in New York City at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and at Columbia University in Manhattan. Tomasz Rut’s career turned to the restoration and art conservation for clients throughout the East Coast. In his repertoire is the Biltmore House, Smithsonian Institute, U.S. Treasury, New Jersey State House, and the Gusman Center for the Arts. During his work, Tomasz Rut noticed there was a gap and a need for high quality figurative paintings from the past that could be purchased and set out to fill that void. Tomasz Rut’s paintings and artwork began to take shape, using an aged style and cracked canvasses to recreate the grandeur and eloquence of Italian Frescoes and figurative oils.
