Everyone wants clear, healthy skin, but many of us think that it takes a long routine to achieve this. We all read about people who have a battalion of expensive lotions and ointments to use on their skin and we wish we had time and money to do the same. The good news is that very little time and money to the same healthy, clear and radiant skin we envy in others takes to achieve!

The first and most important element of clear skin is a regular cleaning. A clean skin is rarely infected with acne and contributes to our overall health. By washing your face at least twice a day with a mild detergent, you'll keep a healthy skin with good circulation and clear pores. Be careful about using cleaners, however. By drying too much oil in your skin, it will compensate by producing more and start a vicious circle that is likely to produce acne trying so hard to avoid.

Makeup is another enemy of clear skin. Despite what commercials say about makeup promote a healthy skin, it does exactly the opposite. It produces only the illusion of a healthy complexion, while your pores with chemicals and unnatural substances. Occasional use of makeup, your skin will probably not much pain when you clean it before then but if you want to delete and maintain a healthy skin, makeup should be avoided like a plague.

Your diet plays an important role in keeping your skin healthy and clear. Drinking enough water hydrates and moisturizes the skin and improves circulation. Carbonated beverages (pop, soda, etc.) are acidic and disrupt the natural balance of your skin and your body floods with acid and disruption of your natural pH balance. Because the acid in soft drinks, the facial skin produce more oil to compensate for the loss of moisture.

Pores are more likely to become clogged and infected when your face is producing excess oil. Eating more vegetables rich in antioxidants will probably not be for your skin than anything else you could do. Each brightly colored vegetable or fruit such as apples, peppers, broccoli, pumpkin and carrots, the skin absorption of the oxygen it needs to be healthy and smooth and fresh.

Moisturizing your skin is another important key to keeping it healthy and clear. A water-based moisturizer will discourage the production of oils that are meant to moisturize and protect the face, and that means less oil to block pores and cause acne. A good moisturizer will prevent your skin from drying out and keeping it hydrated and supple.

It only takes a few minutes each day to cleanse and moisturize your skin. Those two things will almost certainly make you a clear and healthy complexion. By eating the right foods and avoiding acidic beverages, you will further assure that your face remains clear and your body healthy.
