The Three Funniest Comedy Films from the Hilarious Jim Carrey

Since the early 80s Jim Carrey has been the name and face of physical comedy. He has been a huge comedic contributor to movies but also made us chuckle on television too. Jim Carrey is at his absolute best in this outrageously funny comedy. Carrey plays the part of Llyod Christmas, a limo driver who is down on his luck and money, with best friend Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels). After Llyod retrieves a briefcase left by limo passenger Mary Swanson (Lauren Holly), he and Harry set out to return it to its rightful owner. When they find out that it is filled with cash they decide to write a few IOU's and borrow some money. Harry and Llyod are ridiculously funny from beginning to end of this film.

Liar Liar (1997)
Jim Carrey plays Fletcher Reed a lawyer who enjoys bending the truth a bit. When his son makes a birthday wish that his dad can't lie for 24 hours, Fletcher has a hard time trying to fulfill that wish. Watching a lawyer try not to lie in a day is pretty amusing! Maura Tierney stars alongside Carrey playing his wife Audrey. This film was creatively directed by Tom Shadyac (Evan Almighty, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry).

Bruce Almighty (2003)
Bruce Nolen (Jim Carry) was your typical glass half empty kind of guy who lived with his girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston). After complaining about God (Morgan Freeman) too often, God decides to give Bruce a shot to see if he can do a better job at being God. At first Bruce loves the power to make whatever he wants to happen, but it begins to get a lot more involved than he originally thought. Carrey plays this role beautifully.
