The Sony Ericsson W395 Silver is a curvaceous offering from Sony. Its carefully crafted lines make this phone smooth to touch with rounded corners which are comfortable to view as well as to hold. Sony have also provided a TFT screen with scratch resistant surface which is very good at keeping the phone looking its best even when placed in a pocket with numerous objects such as keys, which have a tendency to scratch surfaces. The MP3 player, or Walkman player is an element of this phone that Sony are renowned for and justifiably so, the phone has stereo speakers and the player makes full use of them and as such they produce an excellent sound quality. The MP3 player allows multiple formats of audio files to be played including MP3, WMA and AAC. The player also comes with TrackID music recognition to locate details of songs. An FM stereo radio is also provided offering a different form of entertainment.


A 2 inch TFT screen is the main element of the front of the Sony Ericsson W395 Silver and displays 256,000 colours at a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. This ensures images are displayed with crystal clear clarity and with correct colour representation


The customary camera provided is a 2 megapixel camera which is of sufficient quality to take snapshots and view on the more than capable display screen. The camera operates at 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution and also allows video capture as well, which means that there are alternatives to capture that moment, either photo or video.
