Released in November 2009, the Samsung M1 Vodafone 360 is packed with useful features, from internet access, media playback and digital camera, all with touch screen navigation.

Measuring 112x55.4x13.4mm the M1 Vodafone 360 weighs in at 111g so is lightweight and relatively slim line making it comfortable to hold and use. The 3.2 inch TFT touch screen is capable of displaying up to 16 million colours at 240x400 pixels ensuring depth and clarity of onscreen images. It also features an impressive 3D user interface for navigating the menus.

Users are alerted to incoming calls and messages by vibration with the option to utilize polyphonic ringtones and assign MP3 music files as ringtones. A speakerphone is installed in the handset allowing hands free communication. A 3.5mm audio jack can accommodate hands free kits as well as headphones for listening to music.

Internal memory in the M1 Vodafone 360 is 1 GB as standard, however this can be expanded to 16 GB allowing a generous amount of storage for media files and other data. Several connectivity options can be utilized to keep users connected on the move. Class 10 versions of both GPRS and EDGE are included as the primary means of connectivity. Connection to 3G networks is via HSDPA at speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. Bluetooth version 2.0 is installed as standard allowing direct transfer of media files and other data between other Bluetooth compatible devices. It is also equipped with GPS with A-GPS support.


The M1 Vodafone 360 is equipped with a digital camera boasting 3.15 MP which operates at a pixel resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. It can also shoot video as an alternative to taking still images. This is in VGA quality at a rate of 15 frames per second.

The built in media player can accommodate a wide variety of file formats. Supported music files include MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+(e), WMA and AMR formats. The following video file formats are also supported: MPEG4, H.263, H.264, DivX, XViD and WMV. Media files can easily be transferred to and from a computer via the included USB (v2.0) port. Additional entertainment options include a stereo FM radio with RDS and a range of games.

The Samsung M1 Vodafone 360 provides a well rounded package of features which is sure to appeal to a wide range of users. With its impressive range of media playback capabilities and internet access, the handset can cope with everyday tasks with ease.
