The Samsung B7330 OmniaPro an overview

The B7330 OmniaPro has been released by Samsung. It hasn't been long since they released the B7320 OmniaPro. There was nothing wrong with the model however Samsung quickly released an upgrade. Not a great deal has been changed and both handsets will serve different users. The B7330 is a slimmer phone and provides great data speed with a bigger screen size and resolution. Incorporating Windows Mobile 6.5 which is a great addition and believed to be the main reason for this release not to steel the limelight from the B7320 as at some point in the future it will be possible to upgrade from the 6.1 version of the OS to the new 6.5.

The business handset is compact and looks and feels great. Measuring in at 114.9mm x 59mm x 10.8 mm and weighing only 107 grams.The handset is now much closer in size and features to the Nokia E71 device. The WinMo powered full QWERTY messenger is very pleasing on the eye and serves its purpose very well. The B7330 OmniaPro TFT display screen is 2.62 inches, provides 65K colour and 320 x 320 pixels. Other changes included are boosted HSDPA and HSUPA along with a better 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.


The B7330 handset provides 270MB storage, 256 MB Ram and s microSD card slot which can expand the memory up to 32GB. Features include a 3.15 megapixel auto-focus camera with geotagging and QVGA video recording capability of up to 30 frames per second. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP connectivity is incorporated as is a standard microUSB port. Navigating your way around the menus is okay but requires a firm click on the navigation pad. However, it does work well when browsing the web. The Samsung B7730 comes pre loaded with internet explorer. The other problem with the navigation is that you are unable to move diagonally which is a real pain when selecting an option on the screen when in the browser. The Calender on this Windows Phone is great and is great for organising your life. MyPhone enables the user to sync the phone and calender so that their schedule appears on MyPhone on the PC. Pictures, videos, contacts and sms can also be synced to your PC. It's all free! The user can also set up one email account and Active Sync will push the emails to you as it is received. It's easy to set up and you can adjust to sync with the server every 5,10,15 etc minutes.


In conclusion, The Samsung B7330 OmniaPro is a great phone in many areas and is capable of a variety of tasks. It incorporates many features and ha s a great design. A great business phone which looks and feels great.
