The Motorola Flipout including Motoblur technology

The Motorola Flipout features Motoblur technology which provides the user with all their social networking, messaging and other latest updates and notifications all in one place on the 2.8 inch square display screen which covers a full QWERTY keyboard beneath the flipout function. It also offers a 34 megapixel camera and runs the Android operating system.

The handset offers a wide range of applications, widgets and more due to its Android operating system, version 2.1 which features multi-tasking and high performance, added to by this handsets 600 megahertz processor and 512 megabytes of random access memory to make the phone work seamlessly with the users fast messaging through email, SMS or MMS along with instant messaging and social networking updates.

The camera has a 3 megapixel resolution and can capture both images and video in good resolutions respectively. Images can then be enjoyed on the 2.8 inch square touch screen, which can also be used for fast text input onscreen, as oppose to the flipout keyboard. The camera is fixed focus and has 4x digital zoom as well as geotagging capabilities due to the handsets Assisted GPS and electronic compass which also offer other location based services as such.

The Flipout has Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate and offers a wide array of Bluetooth profiles including stereo BLuetooth audio, allowing the user to connect the phone to a wireless stereo headset for music playback and listening. The wireless LAN offered are WEP and WPA while Class 12 GPRS and EDGE along with HSPDA carry data. The phone also has a stereo jack (3.5mm) for wired headphones, and or easy PC syncing, a Micro USB connector offering USB 2.0 High Speed data transfer.

The phone has a microSD card slot which is able to provide up to 32 gigabytes of storage emory for the users music, images, videos and applications among other uses. The handset offers the Web through the Android WebKit Browser which is a full HMTL browser to display on the 2.8 inch capacitive touch screen capable of displaying up to 16 million colours. The WebKit browser also includes Adobe Flash Lite 3, supporting FLash applications on the Web.
